BU16 Black Carlsbad Cup Champions

BU16 Black Carlsbad Cup Champions

The Boys U16 Black team, coached by Jaques Ladouceur, was crowned Champions at the 2008 Carlsbad Cup with an undefeated record of 3-0-2.

On the final day of this three-day tournament, the Hawks played 150 minutes spread over just four hours in a grueling back to back semi-final and championship matches. With only all of its rostered players in attendance, the team gave up just 1 goal the entire tournament on a PK and out-played their opposing sides that had far greater bench depth. Unfortunately one of the starters suffered an injury during the semi-final match which only motivated the players to win the series for their teammate.
